Egyptiska Founders

Egyptiska was founded by Ghada Zaky, an Egyptian entrepreneur with a background in Art and Fashion and a graduate of Applied Arts, and John Risberg, a Swedish entrepreneur with experience in the automotive and education sectors. Over a decade ago, they established Galleri SoHo in Västerås, Sweden, building cross-border collaborations across Scandinavia, the Middle East, and Europe and working closely with artists, designers, and creative brands.

Through this experience, they identified a clear gap between Egyptian production and international market requirements. Egyptian brands create strong, high-quality products, yet often lack structured access to export markets. Egyptiska was created to bridge that gap by connecting Egyptian fashion, design, craft, skincare, cosmetics, and beauty brands with Scandinavian and European markets, turning creativity into structured, sustainable growth.
